Went Apartment Hunting

Being 6 weeks away from wedding. We decided that we would go apartment hunting today. We looked at 6 different apartments and have the list down to 3 now. Most of the apartment managers told us to let them know this week. So here we our getting out first place together. Oh they also agreed on the month to month on the 3 we want. So we just need to pick one now.

Brian Called Recruiters

Brian called the recruiters today and has an appointment Monday after school. He will be heading in to talk and see what he has to do etc. Brian is excited to get this started we shall see what happens next. Wish him luck everyone.

Navy For Moms

I found a cool website Navy For Moms and yes they have a wives and girlfriend group. I got a lot of info for Brian. One of the people I met is retired navy. He told me to tell Brian to go ahead and start his process. Which I told Brian and he is calling for an appointment tomorrow to go in and see the recruiters. So wish him luck!

Our Story

I met Brian a year ago when his family moved Anchorage. Both of our dads are in the Air Force that is why we are here. We are seniors in high school and engaged to be married on May 12 2012. Brian will also being joining the Navy not the Air Force like his dad. Which was a shock to his dad but after talking to Brian his and my family are supportive of his decision. I guess once a water baby always a water baby lol. So I thought I would start our blog to keep every updated etc.
